- Prepare 2 cup of milk (use 1/2 cream).
- Prepare 1 packages of sharp cheddar cheese (8 oz).
- You need 2 1/2 cup of ham.
- It's 1 loaf of french bread.
- Prepare 1 packages of broccoli florets (12 oz).
- You need 1/4 tsp of nutmeg.
- You need 2 tbsp of chopped onion.
- You need 3 tbsp of chopped roasted red pepper.
- Prepare 2 tbsp of dijon mustard.
- You need 1 tsp of italian seasoning.
- You need 1 tsp of black pepper.
- It's 1/4 cup of parmesan cheese.
- Prepare 1 packages of fresh sliced mushrooms.
Breakfast/Brunch Casserole step by step
- preheat oven to 325'.
- in deep casserole dish tear in pieces 3/4 loaf French bread.
- sprinkle ham over bread.
- defrost broccoli in microwave and squeeze out water. sprinkle in casserole dish.
- sprinkle mushrooms in casserole dish.
- sprinkle 3/4's cheddar cheese.
- beat eggs.
- tear remaining 1/4 French bread into pieces & add to casserole dish.
- add onion,red pepper,nutmeg,black pepper,dijon mustard,italion seasoning & milk & cream & mix together.
- make sure all bread is covered with custard (may need to mix with hands).
- top with remaining cheddar & parm cheese.
- let set a few hours or overnight.
- bake uncovered for 45 min's to an hour. (a knife should come out clean in the middle).
- let cool for 10 min's & serve.
